An international workshop identified as "The Role of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering in Defense Technology" was held at the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Koya University.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Galawezh Bakr Bapir, together with an impressive number of lecturers and pupils, attended an international conference on "The Role of Construction and Industrial Engineering in Defense Technology" on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. in the Engineering Faculty's seminar hall.
 

After administering tests to the participants, the three-day third level training for handball referees at the Faculty of Physical Education came to its end.

On Thursday, May 4, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Abdullah and Mr. President of the Iraqi Handball Union Dr. Ahmed Riad Talib along with several faculty lecturers participated in the third level of handball referees, which was held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 by the Faculty of Physical Education of Koya University in coordination with the Iraqi Handball Union and the Iraqi Referees Academy for three days.

A workshop titled "Religious Influence in Different Periods of Kurdish History" was given by the history department of the faculty of education at Koya University in the Presidency Hall.

The Koya University Faculty of Education's Department of Education and Psychology hosted the "Peaceful Mind" event.

The festival "Peaceful Mind" was held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in the presence of the Koya University President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rostam Salam Azeez, Vice President for Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Qaraman Nadir, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Safin Jalal, and an impressive number of teachers and students in the presidency hall at koya University. 

A memorandum of understanding was signed by Koya University and President Jalal Talabani Foundation to advance their collaboration and strengthen their relationship.

On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, A delegation from President Jalal Talabani Foundation headed by Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Sabir Ismail, was met by President of Koya University Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hasib Siddiq.

A workshop titled "Art and Mind" was arranged by the Departments of faculty of Education, Psychology, and Kurdish Language at Koya University under the heading "Art is a symbol of mental well-being."

An international workshop on the "Health Benefits of Exercise and Physical Activity" was hosted by Koya University's Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Physical Education in cooperation with the University of Perugia, Italy.

Michele Camerota, the Italian consul general in Erbil, was welcomed by Mr. President of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq.

The Italian consul in Erbil, Michele Camerota, paid a visit to Koya University today, April 26, 2023, and he was welcomed by members of Koya University's council and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq. 

First of all, Mr. Michele Camerota was warmly received by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, President of Koya University, who also expressed his gratitude for his visit.

The Department of English Language, Faculty of Education, Koya University, held a workshop on the research projects of the department's fourth-year students under the subject matter "Building Bridges between University and Community through Scientific Research."
