The Third course of pedagogy has ended at the Pedagogical Center of Koya University.

On Sunday, October 9, 2022, with the participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Sedeeq Zangana, President of Koya University and Asst. Prof. Dr. Haidar Lashkry Khidr V.P for scientific and postgraduate affairs the third course of pedagogy of Koya University ended in a special ceremony and the graduates were awarded certificates of participation.

The Directorate staff of the Behar English Language Center changed and the center moved to another building within the Koya University Campus 

When Mr. Ibrahim Abdulrahman Ahmed assumed the role of the Director of Bahar English Language Center; Karzan Osman Dawd was appointed as the head of the Center's curriculum and study program. 

On Sunday, September 25, 2022, Koya University and the American-based educational organization Pinnacle Teaching Solutions signed a partnership agreement at a special singing ceremony held at Koya University. The agreement was signed by Koya University President Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Zangana and The Pinnacle Teaching Solutions Country Director for Iraq Mr. Tim Knoespel.

A delegation from Koya University participated in a conference on the rule of law in Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) universities. On September 24, 2022, a delegation of Koya University consisting of Asst. Prof. Dr. Rostam Salam Aziz, VP for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Mr. Rekan Farhan Salih from the Directorate of Legal Affairs of Koya University

Professor Dr. Salah I. Yahya, working in the Department of Software Engineering at Koya University, published a research paper in the Symmetry journal that published by MDPI and indexed by the Clarivate Analytics (Wos: IF = 3.940, Q2), This research work is a collaboration with researchers from Islamic Azad University, Al-Esraa University College and Vietnamese-German University. The research article is about design and fabrication of a Filtering Power Divider with Simple Symmetric Structure.

The suicide prevention workshop held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, on the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day at Koya University in collaboration with International Migration Organization and Azhi Organization, was covered by several television channels and international news agencies.

On Sunday, September 11, 2022, Koya University in collaboration with International Migration Organization and Azhi organization organized a workshop on suicide prevention on World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10).

A researcher at KoU has published two papers in two international journals about a new finding called ISIS syndrome. 

Darya Rostam Ahmed, who graduated from the Department of Clinical Psychology Faculty of Science and Health(FSCH) and currently works as an assistant at the Presidency of Koya University, is an active researcher working on a new psychological concept called ISIS Syndrome.

The Pinnacle Teaching Solutions country director for Iraq, Mr. Tim Knoespel, accompanied by Ms. Jessica A. Shier, visited Koya University on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

The delegation met with Koya University President Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Zangana and a number of university community members including Director of Public Relations Dr. Hawkar Bapeer Bakir, Head of the Department of English Education (DENL) Dr. Ahmed Abdulaziz Mohammad, Head of the Department of English Language (DENG) Mr. Hana Mohammed Smail, and Director of Media and Communication Mr. Muhammed Karim Saedgul.

Sharya Abdulqader, Muhamad T. Latif, and Ali D. Hassan, students in the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, visited Germany for a 12-day long summer course.

 The course, "Application of Additive Manufacturing in Engineering", is administered by Freiberg University of Mining and Technology. In addition, KoU students were funded by DAAD, and the course was scheduled between the 8th to 19th of August, 2022. Also, the summer course was designed to introduce students to labs and hubs of car designing and manufacturing, in addition to participating in some lectures.
